(Getty Images) The color of money: Pink leads the way as 12 touring artists break the $100 million mark in 2019 Pink wrapped her “Beautiful Trauma” tour this fall with a final gross of $384.4 million after a 20-month global run,  the second highest ever by a solo female headliner. Only Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” earned more ($411 million in 2008-09). The grosses from Pink’s 2019 dates land her at No. 1 on Pollstar’s Top 100 Worldwide Tours of the year based on a $215.2 million gross and 1.8 million sold tickets at 68 shows. (Getty Images) U2 has launched this year’s extension of “The Joshua Tree” tour, which began in 2017 with a stadium trek in the Americas and Europe to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the historic 1987 album. The 2019 encore of the tour is a five-week stretch with performances in Oceania and Asia during November and December. It marks the iconic band’s first shows in Australia and New Zealand since the “360” tour nine years ago and the first Asian dates since a Japanese stop on the “Vertigo” tour in 2006. The ”Joshua Tree” tour’s second wave began at Mt Smart Stadium Testosterone Propionate in Auckland, New Zealand, on Nov. 8 and 9. (Getty Images) Heading up the highest-grossing concert engagements on Hot Tickets is the sixth edition of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, a two-show event Sept. 20-21 at American Airlines Center in Dallas. The box office take from the two concerts totaled $6.3 million with 24,853 tickets sold. Among the 30-plus performers joining Clapton in Dallas were Jeff Beck, Joe Walsh, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmie Vaughan and Tedeschi Trucks Band. It marked a return to the city for the multiple-artist event: The second installment of the guitar fest founded by the three-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member took place at Cotton Bowl Stadium in 2004. Those three acts account for nine of the 10 highest-grossing concert engagements — all stadium-size events with ticket sales topping the 30,000 mark for one performance. The Stones land four events on Hot Tickets, including the top grosser, an Aug. 22 sellout at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. with a crowd of 56,974 and a $13.1 million box office take. They also chart at Nos. 4, 5 and 6 with shows in the San Francisco, Miami and Phoenix markets. (Getty Images) And the grosses look nice, as old faves and a couple of newer faces rule through Q3  Heading up the list of top-grossing concerts ranked on Hot Tickets is San Francisco’s annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival, held this year at Golden Gate Park on the second weekend of August. This year’s three-day festival took in $29.6 million from 205,500 purchased tickets, setting a box office record in gross revenue for the Bay Area event. The 2015 edition of the festival, however, still stands as the one with the most sold tickets at 212,024. • Spice Girls tours are rare, but they make a splash when they happen.
